DJ is a gruff individual who has a non-nonsense view on life. He's anal-retentive when it comes to details of even the most minuet things. Like Ping, DJ doesn't fit in, unlike Ping, he makes no effort to hide the fact that even though he doesn't know you, odds are he won't like you.

DJ is much more technically inclined than Ping and where Ping finds peace in the serenity of nature, DJ finds it in his workshop. He spends most of his free time modifying anything from computers to car engines. He has a inventive knack for making things or just making things better.

For reasons unknown DJ is in debt to the local Irish boss. In order to pay back the assumable large amount of money he owes, DJ works as a cleaner for a faction of the going rate. He's paid enough to live on and then some, but the rest of the payment it used to pay back his dues.

Being a hit man doesn't really bother DJ though, he sees it in a more optimistic light, commonly stating "Hey it's one less person that could piss me off later."
