Ping is a rather odd person, tending to be sarcastic about most situations. He is a Geek and proud of the title. Most of the time Ping puts on a good face around people, but is really more of lone wolf. He almost never follows the pack and is even less inclined to lending his own. Deep down he feels he doesn't fit in, and finds a rather cynical joy in being a salesman or as he refers to it, "the art of manipulating the masses."

Ping was reared by his single mother her parents after the death of his father. Even though his father died when Ping was little more than a year old, he tends to act and think just like him.

Although not religious, Ping is a spiritual individual, finding peace and a deep reverence in nature rather than in a church.

For the time being Ping lives with his friend DJ in a small apartment on the outskirts of G-Vegas where few people ever bother them.
